What were they thinking

We were traveling West through St. Louis on the interstate a week ago. Off to the right I see a beautiful cemetary. It made me smile. Right next door to the cemetery...I mean RIGHT NEXT DOOR (the driveways were adjacent)...is a self storage facility. This made me laugh out loud. Maybe it was just that time in my driving day...or my twisted sense of humor...but I found that funny.

I saw this two word sign on a store north of Dallas Texas:
LIQUEUR
GUNS

Also in Texas, this over a ranch driveway gate near Abilene:
OLEO ACRES... just a cheap spread

When we were shopping for a S&B, realtor showed us a home across the street from a cemetery , nice enough place , well within our price range ; DW said NO ......WAY. Not living there.
Land next to a cemetery probably the cheapest for miles around for that reason , the self storage went in . OK place to visit , but wouldn't want to live there.

Or did you think that the residents of the cemetery were storing things because they couldn't " take it with them ".

I wasn't sure what to think. Discount do it yourself internment...Or what a snafu it would be to take the wrong driveway while trying to rush to a friends funeral.
