Did something similar with a belch to my best friends sister in law, who at that time was an annoying under age tag-a-long. I belched super loud and without a second passing, I said "that was pretty rude Brenda!" She turned multiple shades of red and slid down in her seat. Everyone in McDs thought it was her.

Way back-32 years ago--I made a "bachelor dish" that our son really liked. It consisted of red beans, regular baked beans, dehydrated onions, bacon, and hickory smoke sauce all fried together with a can of tomato sauce. He ate most of the mix all by himself. That night he had a big, important prom date with a girl he was hot for.

He came home a bit earlier than I thought he would and the first thing he said when he got in the door was: "I don't want to EVER eat that dish again!!" Turns out almost every dance step he took he made loud flatulent noises accompanied by eye-watering, gagging gas. Needless to say the girl was not impressed.

Here in northern Wisconsin we attribute the loud passing of disgusting methane on "Barking Spiders". Strangely enough no one has ever seen one or even caught one. BUT WE KNOW THEY ARE AROUND!!

Another tip. Do NOT pass gas in a small RV shower.

You will not like the result.

And NO I will tell you how I came to this conclusion.

One thing that seems to take a long time to learn is to never--NEVER-- pull your hankerchief out of your back pocket to blow your nose right after passing gas while sitting in a "spoon" chair.
