I don't remember if this one has been posted: To keep it short an older fellow calls his wife sweetheart, dearie, sugar, lover etc. Someone comments it is really nice that he uses such terms of endearment to his wife. He says I can't remember her name.

Taking the vacuum tubes out of the TV and going to a store where we could check the tubes ourselves.
