Instead of dialing a number you ask the operator to connect you.

You remember having a party at your house because you got a color tv
You remember a time when everyone on TV smoked, but were never allowed to say any cuss words or the show was sensored

Harley,
I started working for a NY town in 1973. When I saw the wheeled spreaders in the junk pile, I had to ask what they were used for.

Glad I was to young for the days, they used them.

Alas, there are many in their teens, or younger, who have that problem.. And I can prove it.

I the customers of the local "Candy Man" (Drug dealer) were capable of thinking, and actually started doing so, he's be out of business overnight,, Due to lack of customers.

(Why do you think they call it DOPE?)

When you remember that the headlight dimmer switch was on the floor.

Actually, I miss that being on the floor.

Its getting harder for me to get my foot up to the steering column.
