If you remember when TVs had a channel 1, Black and white only and even then you had to pull the shade down to make the room dark to see the TV.

I remember when TV was so new we had to drive across town and park in front of the rich people's house and watch the TV thru their picture window. (Until they caught on and closed the blinds--must have been the traffic jam out front.)

Your know you're old when: You go to the barbershop, tell the barber to "just cut out the grey" and he says, "Are you here for a haircut, or a shave?

You know you are old when you’re young at heart, but you can’t say the same for your other organs

I'm not getting old, but all my friends sure are.

As my then 90 year old grandmother said years ago when I took her home after one day in nursing home following knee surgery: "I can't stay here. Its full of old and sick people."

Your grandmother is so typical of us all. My MIL at 89 says the same. Yet she's on oxygen and falls constantly. Quote, " I'm the youngest one in here". " you know your old when all reasoning has flown out the window."

You know you are old when you remember that 30 years ago today was the Challenger disaster, and you use to work on that project.

... you drove a busload of college kids from New Jersey to New Hampshire so they could campaign for their candidate in the Presidential Primary. The candidate was: Senator George McGovern. (He won the nomination but lost the election to incumbent President Richard Nixon.)

You know you are old when you live each day as it was your last. You’ll get it right someday.

You know you're old when you reserve a Mustang convertible at the car rental agency and they give you keys for a Crown Victoria..
