Maybe you could negotiate with the phone company to let you make that call!

You know you're old when:
*you were a kid you had to be home when the street lights came on since you didn't have a cell phone
*you were allowed to roam freely around the neighborhood
* you're mom was home all day
* play with friends outside!
* ride your bike (no helmet!)
all that and your parents were never questioned or arrested!

My 91' Ford F-150 has vent windows. Wish cars still had them...

You'd be lucky to find a pay phone that would take any coins today!

Post on facebook a while back telling people to quit killing animals to eat and just buy their meat at a store where no animals are hurt!

When cars didn't have seat belts, it was fun to ride in the back of a pickup, and you didn't need helmet to ride a motorbike. I didn't even know there were helmets for years.

How did we survive???

I have a 1962 International Scout 80 with "God Forbit" NO seat belts! Licensed it and asked about having to put seat belts in it and was told Arizona don't care. If the car can with em they have to be installed.

In response to SwanQueen s post, it was a choice between Soupy or Sheriff John's Lunch Brigade.

I remember watching Soupy Sales at night. Sheriff John was a fixture in L.A. I lived across the street from school and would occasionally come home for lunch.

Speaking of Sheriff John, here he is with Clark Kent (George Reeves):
