I see from your website that you offer "Wireless Internet". Are you offering this at the dedicated modem line or is this available at your campsite?

I like the 50% off for students (nice for those of us with kids). I think you need a campground map that would be helpful for those who would like some idea as to where the site is located in relation to pool, bathhouse, entrance, other folks they may be meeting.

Dave, great job on the website. I concur with the others about a site map. Also, do you have a lot of permanents there and I hate to ask, but are they friendly. We have been to some places with winter residents and they treat the rest of us like intruders.
I don't know why but I thought Alafia was adults only, glad to see it isn't.
One last comment, "2 well-behaved Pets" I would love to visit your place but my two grown chihuahuas would be lost without our youngest, Desi Lu. Good website though and I respect your right to limit the # of pets.

I love your website. It's fresh looking and easy to navagate. with great PICTURES. Kudos to your webmaster! The main thing I look for are pictures of the different sites and is always nice to see pictures of people enjoying themselves. You can't have too many pictures. Nice job.

I just came across this thread and I realize it is an old thread but I felt I needed to air my opinion not only about Alafia River RV Resort's website but their campground as well.

We unfortunately spent a miserable week at Alafia River RV Resort(?)'s (hardly what I would call a resort) in March 2004.

While the website is first rate the campground itself is deplorable run down out of date mess.

While the website is "fresh looking and easy to navagate" the campground has tight, narrow, winding driveways with many deplorable older fulltime trailers and park models.

"do you have a lot of permanents there and I hate to ask, but are they friendly. We have been to some places with winter residents and they treat the rest of us like intruders." YES they do and YES they are very unfriendly.

"I happened to see that your park is listed for sale ... as someone who is thinkgin about gettign into a park (smaller than you have) I was wondering why" That could be the best thing to happen to this dump. Maybe the new owners would clean out the rif-raf and actually get it back to being a RESORT that bares some resemblance to the website.

At time of our reservation we were promised a large pull thru site. Instead what we had was a site so tight we could not use our awning and so short my 32' 5th wheel actually stuck out into the driveway by 6 inches. When I mentioned that we were promised a pull thru she as much as called me a liar and that we could take it or leave it but we were not getting any money back. The neighbors were mostly permanents with junk cars parked in front and laundry hanging on clothes lines.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best) I rate Alafia River RV Resort a MINUS 5
