I currently hold a California Water Treatment Operator license, grade 2 and a water distribution license also grade 2. In all my travels and various campgrounds with city water and many with their own wells, there is not much demand for water treatment operators. Different states have varying requirements for water treatment. The state of Virginia totally amazed me as to their requirements. Guess their theory is if you have a well, use it regardless how many persons it serves. California is the strictest to the best of my knowledge.

I am a certified water pollution control officer in MS. Your best source for info may be the Department of Environmental Quality for your state. I deal only with the wastewater aspect, not well water, but the DEQ would still be the place to start.
They can give you just about any info you would need or send you to the right person.

I also have a T2 and a D3 in Calif. I thought this was a E.P.A Rule under the CCR.

Thanks
