just got back from a short 3 day trip to asheboro. stayed at zooland family campground. the people that run the place could not be any nicer. use to be called banjo creek new people have taken it over and it is a nice place to stay. went to the zoo on sat. then did the zip-line cable rides (what a rush!) followed by mayberry tribute in troy n.c with rodney dillard and his band playing after. me and the girls had a great time. cant wait for the next trip, myrtle beach for 10 days startin aug. 15

Sounds like a great time was had by all. Rv'ing as it should be.Small towns have an awful lot to offer if one looks.

'poorfarmer', echo comments by 'skipwil' -- small town USA is the way to explore in an RV. We're not much into the large tourist centers and would rather be in a nice quiet out-of-the-way place.
