We had a fairly good weekend on Feb 18, 19, & 20 so decided to go camping about 25 miles from home. We had a great time. The campsite by the lake is very nice, called Bledsoe Creek in Gallatin, TN & it was packed. Seems everyone had cabin fever like us. The old 79 motor home ran great & everything worked like a champ. Batteries charging great, interior lights working, plumbing working. We were even able to use the toilet. Awesome. I was very pleased with how the old girl did. Loved it.

What a great paragraph! Thats exactly what it's all about. Our first motorhome was an 'Old Girl' also. A '78 eyebrow Winny with a shift on the dash Dodge 440. Enjoying these seasoned ladies is what prompted me to start this Vintage Forum (with the approval of the management of course). It is a joy to read the posts and witness the comaraderir and wisdom of IRV2 folks across the nation. It is indeed... Happy Trails!!.
