A bunch of us locals are planning a campout at Dewayne Hayes, July 28th-31st. We will be in the Buckeye flats loop. There are still sites available for that weekend. Please come out and join us.

Are you from Columbus ? Amory/ Wren here. We have friends from Hamilton that stay at DH a lot, haven't tried it yet ourselves. Gonna be hot!

Jambonee,
In Baton Rouge (should show under my name on the left). Still have lots of family in the Columbus area. Spent a lot of time there during the summers when I was a kid.
My parents have a small second home on Tibbee Creek. Mom and I usually go up for about a week and a half for spring break. I'm hoping that the next time we go, I won't have some sort work project to do, as I've had all three times we've been so far.
I plan to call Joe when I'm up there the next time.

I just looked to see where this campground is located, and it's less than 2 miles from my family home! The family property is off W. Plymouth Road just west of Younger Road. I'm usually there only once a year, in late March or early April. Will have to take a look a the campground. Maybe some of y'all will be there the next time I'm up that way.
