our group had the best time in Cooperstown, NY. The pumpkin regotta was the best entertainment. What a hoot! Stayed at Hartwick Highlands camp ground. The owners were very friendly and made our stay a pleasure.

Glad you posted that about your stay as I have been looking for a viable alternative to the KOA just off of Route 20. There is nothing wrong with the KOA, it's just that we would like a place closer to Cooperstown. Interesting that the pricing/night is about the same

Made a short trip from Cooperstown, NY to Utica, NY for a visit at the Utica Club Brewery. The tour was great and the guide was entertaining. There were a lot of points of interest, for example, a desk that belonged to Barnum T. Bailey, a grandfather clock that had 3 metal disks that used to play music, and a wooden music box with a metal disk that was playng music. Worth the five bucks we paid and we were given 2 beers of our choice.
