Having taken the new Essexon a short trip a couple of weeks ago with no real issues, we have decided to test our luck and take it to Destin. Leaving on Wednesday for a week, we are staying at the Desrin RV Resort. Very excited

Hope you have a wonderful trip. Destin is my favorite beach destination. While you are there, take a ride over to TopSail, a FL state park that is great and a lot of us go there. Have lots of fun!

Ditto on Topsail. Best of the best as far as State Parks go,

Friend of mine got back from Destin about three weeks ago. Lot's of workers standing around in Tyvek suits, but zero oil on the beaches. Out of boredom, he advised that some of those workers were actually picking up trash and there was none of that on the beach either. Cleanest he has ever seen those beaches! Have fun.

I love Henderson Beach SP. Haven't camped there, but have used their beaches. The Destin RV Resort is nice, too. Completely different type of camp site from the state park. Both are great locations.

G'morning Troden !

If ya get a chance, drive in to the "SanDestin" complex and spend a late afternoon/early evening in what they call "BayTowne Wharf." Shops, great restaurants, on the water. Very enjoyable experience.

BTW....Congratulations on the new Essex. We traded in Mtn. Aire for our current 08 Essex (4502) and REALLY REALLY enjoy this rig. Been full timing since 05, and it's a HOOT!!

Oh, just wondering....are you guys members of Newmar Kountry Klub? If not, check into it. It'd be fun meeting you in person somewhere down the road. Enjoy Destin.

Steve & Lynette
