This will be our first trip in our RV, and also our first trip to Death Valley. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check out when we are there? We are so exited to get on the open road.
Justin

How long are you going to be there and what part of DV are you camping in. It's a big place. We camped in Pahrump over New Years and took a day trip into the area. You can check out my blog in signature for pictures.

Titus canyon is a must see drive. Mosaic canyon is a wonderful hike (across from Stovepipe Wells). Ask the rangers about sidewinder canyon. If you have 4 wheel drive, Marble canyon is a drive/hike. You can drive to the entance and hike the rest. At this point, you are halfway into Cottowood canyon. Golden canyon is close in and doesn't require 4x4. It also connects to Zabriske point if you are a serious hiker.

We go every year and haven't seen everything yet. We stay at the Furnace Creek canpground. Be ready to drive a lot, this is a big place and it is really spread out. You can't possibly see everything in the short time that you have so enjoy and plan a return trip.
