Heading to the Keys in a few weeks staying at the KOA Sugar Loaf Key. Hope all that cold weather they had is long gone by then.

Wish we were heading there too, we've always had a good time @ the Sugarloaf KOA. Just across Hwy 1 is Mangrove Mama's. We think it is one of the best restaurants in the Keys. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is delicious. Most of the "locals" hang out there. Enjoy your stay.

39 days until we leave for the Keys (not that we are counting). Staying at Knight's Key as usual. We drove through the KOA a couple of years ago to check it out since Knight's Key was sold to condo developer. Economy went bad so it is still an CG but the KOA is still an option just in case.

If you are ever in Marathon check out Key's Fisheries for lunch or dinner. Laid back and good food.

We've stayed at Sugarloaf 3 times in the last two years and will be there again Easter week. With pub, pool, beach, water trampoline, fishing bridge, etc. there a lot of activity for the whole family. Nightly entertainment also provided around Easter. My teenage boys HIGHLY recommend this KOA - Kids Overwhelming Adults...

Tom! I think you've posted several ideas to us for places to go with our kids (10, 8, and 6). We take off Feb 1 and will be staying at Fiesta Key RV for 5 nights from Feb 17 t0 23. Perhaps we'll swing by KOA to say hello. (We intended to stay there but it was sold out).

Dave
