We ended up at Southern Comfort RV Park at 1766 Ocean Boulevard. It is a really sweet park with lots of nice people. And no FEMA trailers that I could tell. This town has really come back thanks to the Casinos and I had a profitable birthday weekend thanks to them too

gotta love the slots.
The only negative mark I would give Southern Comfort is the proximity to a train crossing. I live near one in Austin and have grown accustom to the horn at night, but others might find it too much. Anyway, I had a great weekend and I hope all of you have too. If you have been wondering how the Mississippi Coast is doing and wanting to come visit... bye all means do it. The beaches are beautiful... They have even commissioned a sculptor to make these beautiful in ground sculptures out of all the Oak tree stumps left after the storm. They line Ocean boulevard and they really are a beautiful tribute to the lost lives and devastation from Katrina.
