Just returned from a great weekend at this park. Very beautiful area and plenty to do--paddle boats, fishing, hiking. It was a 700 mile round trip form north GA and worth every mile.! I did discover that my Sightseet seemed to like 70 mph in the hilly areas of the trip, did not downshift as much to climb the hills, seems like it is in the perfect powerband. Of course this was not in heavy traffic, 60 to 65, still averaged around 7.5 for the trip.

We're a little west of Hungry Mother in Grayson Highlands SP. The campground was packed for Memorial weekend.

We camped there 3 years ago. What a beautiful park! It was in Marion, VA, just off I-81 not too far from Bristol, TN. We will be driving right past there this weekend on our way to Williamsburg. Wish we could stop.

For those curious about the name "Hungry Mother", google it. It is a sad and interesting story.

We have stayed there twice, but just pasing thru and both times the park was "closed for the season". Nice park;h owever DO NOT come in from the North side. What a hill to climb. Good thing we had a pop-top then. s/Toby
