Ok, it's snow bird season and I see a lot of you are rolling in. It would be nice to meet you and I'm sure there are a lot of members here in FL. Post where you are at or will be at so other members can hook up with you if in the same camp ground.

I have a brick and stick at the moment with the 5th parked outside but the KOA is right down the road here on Pine Island in back of Sanibel Island in S.W. Fl. Give me a shout if you are in town.

I know that KOA, stayed there approx 12 years ago. Pool water was like bath water because of the heat wave that year for the 4th of July. Presently over here on the East Coast at Treasure Coast RV Resort in Fort Pierce, FL til mid April.

We can't come down until after Christmas with the grandchildren. Plan on staying at Camelot near Malabar for January.

On our way down from COLD NJ the day before Thanksgiving to visit Family in Lee High Acres, FL . We love to make time to vist the Great State of Florida. We also love Sanibel and Captiva island. On our last trip we visited Gaspirella Island and enjoy some quite time with family. We try to spend a few weeks in FL, two or three times a year.

G'morning iRV2'rs:

Hey, Al, I'll be darned!!....we're cooling our heels also here at Wilderness RV (Site 126, Preserve).

This Silver Springs area sure is a great winter camp. Close to BOTH Florida coasts, and all kinds of "old Florida" like places to poke around in.

Any other iRV2 folks looking for a great winter layover area here in Florida might give this spot a close look.....you'll like it!!

We are parked, with FHU right on the beach at the famcamp, NAS Key West. It is absolutely beautiful here, but unfortunatley we must move after our 14 day stay. Then, it's off to WDW and adventures with Mickey at the "Fort". I am getting totally spoiled wirh the Conch Republic way of life.

Unfortunately I am stuck here in the cold north until February. I have two weeks booked at Fort Desoto and then I usually go to Waters Edge in Punta Gorda. Last year some friends bought in Sebring so I hope to spend a week there before heading home in March.

I am at the Waters Edge in Punta Gorda right now. Thinking of spending a week exploring the Everglades and maybe The Keys. All comment are welcome.

I've stayed here before. The family that owns/runs this place are super nice. Enjoy your visit!

Take 75 south till you get to Naples and then take 41S into Miami for the everglades experience. The keys are great but if you don't have a reservation by now I doubt you will find a CG. that's not filled.

We go to thhe keys for a couple of weeks every year, never in a MH. We just bought ours, and I was hoping to take it down there, but seems like you have to call 6 months in advance. We will just drive down like usual, pay the toll for the hotel like we always do.
