Kerrville is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in a beautiful area of rivers and hills. We stayed at the Guadalupe River RV Resort. It is the nicest place at which we have ever stayed. Feeding the deer and squirrels at the riverside just can't be beat.

I am writing this from the banks of the San Marcos River about 200 miles north of Kerrvile. I'll post some pics maybe tomorrow.

I'm with ya TexGuy. We spent a couple of weeks over Thanksgiving 2009 in Kerrville at Buckhorn Lake Resort and loved it. They had a sit down Thanksgiving dinner for 300 people!

We got weather ranging from 75 and sunny to 26 and snowing but had a great time.

we spend the winter in Buckhorn Lake. In fact, this year, we are still there. Leaving at the end of June. We love the hill country.
