We just got back from a terriffic 4 days at Lake Jordan, just west of Raleigh, NC. It is a State Park. 4 different public camping areas. Sites with water and electric are available for $ 20 per night. They have a dump station. We stayed at the Parkers Creek camping arewa. It was not at all crowded or full by any means. Large wooded sites, easy access to the lake, swimming area, boat ramp. This was by far the best place we have stayed at to date. We will be making this our regular retreat.
