ok, just booked our maiden voyage in the winnie. going to jellystone park in waller texas next weekend. it's about an hour or so away, so if we have problems.. we arent too far from home!

i have a few more things to do to the MH before we leave..
install carseat belt
get tire changing tools
check air in the airbags and tires
check all fluids
re-install batteries
fill up the propane tank
prolly pull off the silly CB antennas..

and of course.. go through a generic checklist.

anybody have any suggestions on what else i should prep or look out for before we leave? this will be our first trip in any MH since i was a kid. we have trailer travelled some, but not much.

Sounds like you will be ready to roll, have a great time! We have so many mosquitoes and bugs around here, i like to give the front end a quick wax job and the windshield a rain-x treatment. makes the front easier to clean when we get home. That reminds me, I have to wash off last weekends bugs.
