Hey Bill,

I wish I could join you and Juanita, I have enjoyed camping with you guys! I also love Mayberry Campground and that whole area! Ask them at the office if the Depot resturant is still open, and if so I think you should try it out! Oh yea ask Juanita if she is missing these guys!! I was also hoping you would be at the National this year!!

Hey Bill & Juanita,

You guys will be missed at the National, but I understand! After all when we are all so popular, it is hard to be everywhere, !!! Also I am about two names fast !! Hope you do get a chance to come down to Fla and hook up with us ! Oh yea don't pack a lot of food, since there are a lot of great cheap places to eat in Fla !!!

Bill, what route are you taking to the National?
Was going 85 most of the way, but considering 81 and then cutting back to the east.

Hi Doc ,hope you got out out of jury thing.Due to things already booked we can't make Nat.I know it will be a blast. If I were going to site see on the way up or back--I-81 and then east on 460. Lots of things to see around this route. Its a mess around Petersburg with 85 and 95 . Fast way I think would be 81 toI64 to295 at Richmond. I like these better then 85 ,but have not been on them for several years.I think Al came down 81 last fall..Say Hi to all-Hug for Ms C.
Till we camp again----Bill

That's me laughing at myself!
I saw the thread title (Mayberry) and thought I was in for a Trip Down Memory Lane to see Andy, Barney, Opie, and Aunt Bea...

Sorry to butt in- carry on!

Francesca

Hi,Francesca, not a problem. I see you park on the other side of town.If ever on this side this will be a must stop for you if you were a Andy fan.The town of Mt.Airy was what Mayberry was based on .Its all there--Floyds for a hair cut---Goubers auto shop,Take a ride in the 59 or 62 police car to the court room. There is Mt Plot what is realy Plot Mt.Also Blue Bird Dinner and everybodys # 1 Snappys Lunch for a Pork chap sandwich.Mayberry camp ground is one of our top stopovers.
You never know these places exist if not for our great travels.

Sorry you guys are not coming to the National. We only decided to go at almost the last minute - now we both are looking forward to seeing old friends and new ones we have never met.
Hope ya'll have a great trip and hope to see you soon.
Oh yeah, try the pecan pralines at Nancy's. Great stuff.
