Going to Myrtle Beach next Wednesday for a week. Going to shake down the new RV but mostly just need a break from the rate race for a week.

Wife and I are looking forward to the break.

Glad you are coming to the Grand Strand.
What campground are you staying at during your visit?

You note that you will be shaking down a new RV, so tell us what it is, with all details

We are going to Pirate Land this time around. We swap around between Lakewood ,Pirate Land, and Ocean Lakes. Myrtle Beach is one of our favorite places to go just wish it were a little closer.

We were at Lakewood years back when we had the 24' travel trailer and the sever thunder storms and tornados came through just north of the camp ground what an experience that was.

Will defiantly check out Umberto's

We just purchased a new Gulf Stream (2007 left over) Independence 8357 Ford Chassis V-10 8.1L full body paint three slides.

We just moved out of a 31P Four Winds Class C lots more to move around now.

Sounds like a really nice coach
When you are at the Beach be sure to check out the new "Marketplace" shopping complex. Scheduled to open April 3rd. You will find it in the old Air Force base area, take the road by Warbird Park off
17 Business, Kings Highway

What part of NJ, originally from AC area, been in this area 2 years and love it

We are in the Woodbury Area and actually can't wait to leave the state when we retire, but that will be a few more years from now. Property tax and auto insurance rates make it stupid to stay here. We will definitely be looking to full time in the future.

Will check out the Marketplace during our stay.

We really enjoyed Myrtle Beach until break started. Good thing we were leaving. Would love to go back when it's not quite so busy.

If you need internet for the week Lakewood has been the only reliable one the last few weeks with their phone line. Wireless in both Lakewood and Pirateland has been down.

Al I have not checked out the NorEasaters section but my wife Toni and I will make sure we do in the future. Maybe we can join in on one of the rallies.

You are correct Ocean lakes is cheapest out of the three.

Park,
Congratulations on your new Rig and wish you the best of luck with it.
We will be going to Myrtle Beach the week of the 27th and are staying at BriarCliff Resort in N.M.B. as it is a Passport America Park.
We also used to live in NJ in the NW Corner of the state and left in 2001 to retire here in NC. Saved $5000 on Real Estate Taxes. We love it here and it is affordable for retired folk.
Again Enjoy MB and your new Rig.
