That is a very nice park too, I've been there,, Alas, they are not as nice as they once were though.. In days gone past there was a gentleman (Wendel Hoover as I recall) who's job title was "Park Interperter" most folks called him ranger.. he was, among other things, the naturalist in the park, layed out the nature trails in that and several other parks, gave lecures and tours, put on shows, a genuine "Natural Resource" he was, Man knew what he spoke of too.

The state eliminated his positoin over 20 years ago.

yes i agree but camping before school gets out is great u have the park to your self.and now with the 10 $ passport pass helps a little.
