That's where the 2012 iRV2.com National Rally will be held next fall. Check it out for us & give a report back on how you liked it.

We haven't made up our minds yet but we are either going there on Thanksgiving weekend or to Tunica, MS, Hollywood Casino RV Park.
Would love to hear what people think of the Tunica location, if anyone here has been there!

Doggone Bill, we are looking for an excuse to get out for a few days (all work, no play etc). Had we known you guys were there we would have driven up. We've been there a few times. We could have had a few laughs and shared some stories.
The 06 National was so hot you could hardly breath. Were back there this past summer and almost the same thing. Traffic turning out to the left when leaving the park is best done something very quick and fast. Terrible time getting out with the never ending traffic, and this was during a weekday in the summer. Cannot imagine how this will work for the National in '12 - especially in the Fall. Going to be interesting .

Freebird - What did ya think of River Plantation?
doc - We were also at the 06 Rally. Yeah, that was a hot one. I think it registered 105-degrees under our awning one afternoon. Agreed on the traffic on 441 in that area. Hoping for the 2012, we'll be in that "sweet spot" before the leaves start changing & the leaf peepers fill the roads.

Hi Doc,Just got back home in time for storms, but got in OK. Yea getting out can be rough,we turned right and made a u turn most of the time.I was going to post on River Plantation,so fill in what I leave out.
Sites are large for this type of C.G.,30 OR 50 Amp,sites are very level with pad and table.some water hookups are at front and you may need a longer hose, roads are gravel ,but in great shape(we road bikes every day),Pool and hot tub, they have several baths around C.G.,there is a out door and a indoor meeting areas, there is also a nice green way walk next to the river and river front sites if you want.Only neg was you can not bring your own fire wood(some bug is killing the ash trees) and the traffic can get bad.I would also advise any one going to rally to go to the Peigon Forge web site before rally. You may want to stay a litte longer, there are so much to see and do.We have been going for about 30 years and still find new things to do.
May the Force be with You, Bill& Juanita
