Got to see Quartzsite today and boy is it hot. Going through Parker and up to Laughlin for a few days and would like to hear from anyone that could recomend a rv park that is nice and not to expensive near the casinos. Thanks, Roger

There's an RV park right close to and run by the casino - at least the last time we were there a few years back...

The riverside casino has a full hook up RV park for $99 a week. They also throw in a couple of breakfasts. I stayed there a week in August and won't do that again - above 110 every day.

YUP - That's the one I was thinking of - couldn't remember the name. The casino used to have a nice little car museum display too...
Be surprised if the temps were much of a factor now tho',,,

We stay at Riverside when we go to Laughlin. I think that's the only one..or at least the one closest to the casinos on the NV side of the river. Might be a park at the Avi Casino tho ..anyone? And there are some places on the AZ side but we like the location and full hookups at Riverside..get a spot at the top..great views! And I think they have a shuttle service too.

Yes, Just at the end of hwy 68 and just north of the bridge crossing the river is a large County ? park and you can boondock right on the river. It's called Davis Dam.
Davis Camp - Mohave County-AZ
TYPE:CP SITES: CAMPGROUND PH:928.754.7250 EL(ft):
Ther is also a very nice Casino Campground at the AVI Casino about 10 miles south of Laughlin, also rigjht on the river with its own beach and inexpensive. You can park facing the golf course and its nice. It is a KOA but very reasonable.

We stayed at the Riverside casino park and it was great. Got a site on hill with windshield view facing the strip. Machines were stingy and weather was hot but still had a good time. We are now in Hurricane Utah and boy what a change in weather. Everything is green and in the 70s.

Unless you have your heart set on a casino, I would look on the Bullhead City side of the river. We have been in Ridgeview for about a week and a half now. Had a couple of days in the upper nineties but even these cooled down enough at night to turn the a.c. off and open the windows. Did have a day or two of wind which is not unusual for this time of the year. LV news says a cooling trend for Thursday and Friday. Highs to the low seventies. Windy Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes AVI Casino has an rv park. It is a KOA. It is a nice one but not much else except their casino there. They are running a $99 /wk coupon special. It is about ten or so miles from "the strip" in Laughlin. About five miles across the river from Ft. Mohave.
BTW the main drag in Laughlin is under road construction at this time.

We are in Avi right now. 89 degrees yesterday and should be the same today. Casino has a great buffet and a movie house. KOA is about $25/night more or less, more if you want a large site. I think I'm in about $75 for 3 days and I'm in a larger site. We are on our way to Blythe so will be leaving tomorrow morning.
Bullhead city has all the shops we need for supplies and diesel. It is about 15 min. away. Not to many folks on this side (east) but a lot on the other side.

Forgot - there is space across the street for dry camping and I think it is free.
