We spent the past weekend inPort Aransas and had a ball. Surf side RV Resort was our home base. Charles, the owner couldn't have been nicer. The sites are a tiny bit cramped however.

Non-Texans are sometimes surprised at the coastal attractions we have. But Texas boasts 624 miles of shoreline.

We're out through this week. Right now I am posting this from the banks of the Guadalupe River... I'll post something on that in a bit.

Hi fellow Essex jockey!! We've hung around the Rockport/Fulton Beach area a number of times and polked around Port Aransas frequently. Gotta agree that area is a great spot to spend the winter, laid back, nice folks, great food, fishing, etc.

We'll be back for sure.

Yep, best of the Redneck Riviera...

And taking up 1/2 the ferry is fun too.....great little town, just don't like the salt spray that comes off the Gulf. But we will be back!
