WE were at the PSU-IU game this past Sat. We headed down on Fri. morn
stopped at my Aunts in Annandale Va.,then headed to Landover Md.
We boondocked at the Wegmans food market, only 5 min. from Fedex Field.
Went over to Fedex around 5am. to tailgate, the lot attendates were already there and escorted us to a spot (had my pre paid parking pass in windshield). You couldn't ask for nicer weather. We had a great time.PSU won,the game was a home game fo IU, the owner of the Redskins is an IU alum,so he offered them 3 million to come to play at his stadium, not a bad deal. Sat. nite we stayed at Cherry Hill Park C/G. Nice place clean shower room, and warm. Made things a little easier for us,there were 4 of us, able to dump tanks and fill water tanks, for this Sat. last home game.

Glad you had fun at your game.

We were in College Station for the Aggie and Husker ball game. Had a blast with the rest of the fans....too bad my team lost.

I really like how the universities are providing more services to RV owners. The school converted several parking lots into RV 'campgrounds' complete with police patrol and porta-johns (if needed).

Highly recommended game sight for college football fans.

Rick,

We are in Mechanicsburg (Harrisburg) and plan to attend the PSU games this fall in the RV.

Give me the scoop and where to stay and park!

Thanks,
Earl

Set me straight please. I know Indiana University is at Bloomington, IN. The University of Indiana is in PA. Which are you talking about?

Hi Ray
It's the Indiana Univ. in Bloomington,IN. The owner of the Redskins is an Indiana alum, made them an offer to play a home game (IN) at his Fedex Field.

So let me get this straight...the U of I is in PA? Shouldn't it now be U of P?

There is a Indiana Univ.of PA in western PA, in the town of Indiana, the christmas tree capital of the world and the birthplace of Jimmy Stewart. They have a museum about his wonderful life.

PS: the Univ. of PENN is in Phila.PA

Thanks that always has confused me, I knew about both universities, here in Indiana the one in PA is referred to a U of I to keep things clearer for us Hoosiers. Both are state universities too. Hope ours wins at least 2 games this season.
