Greetings, all.

So, a few weeks ago, as DW and I are packing our popup to head home after a week out, the following conversation ensues:

DW: Hey, baby?

Me: Yes, dear.

DW:I grow weary of this whole popup thing, and having to completely pack and unpack everything in this contrivance each time we want to camp.

Me: OK, sugar, start doing some research, and we'll start looking at TTs.

And two days later:

DW: Honey?

Me: Yes, baby.

DW: I found our new camper, and we're going to look at it on Wed. (The one day we have off together.

Sowe made it as far as the kitchen, and she decided that was the one. Wepick it up on Tues, and we're headed to Pomona State Park at Pomona Lake, KS Tues and Wed if anyone's going to be in the area.

Look for the new Jayco 25RKS in the Kansa campground if you're around.

See you on the road.

Eric

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new rig!

You got off cheap. My DW fell in love with a 40' diesel pusher!

Welcome and I just read your post to my DW and she laughed after she realized I was reading yours and not writing ours, Had the same conversation in a one day span and had a hard time telling the DW that YES we still need to pay sales tax.

I SO understand this story. We decided to go to our 1st ever RV show about a year and a half ago "just to have a look". 2 hours later we were owners of a motorhome we knew nothing about and 6 months after that we went full-timing. Not the route I would recommend for everyone, but can't complain about the results Enjoy your new home! Nina

Congratulations on your new purchase.

You were lucky though. Last June my wife made the decision we needed to buy while we were on the road in Las Vegas. After hitting all the RV lots in Vegas she found what she wanted on the internet at a dealer only 10 miles from our home in Oregon. So off we went 1200 miles to pick up our new coach. If momma ain't happy nobody's gonna be happy.
