Hi all,

A few of us will be at the campground at Stone Mountain Park in Ga! We will be on Trail F from Thur to Mon! Come join us if you can or if in the area stop by and say hey !! I am on site 167A !!

have never been to stone mountain, but thinking about going sometime. do you recommend the campground ya'll stayed in or is there another one you prefer? also i travel with an 8 and 11 year old. hope you had a great time!

Hey poorfarmer,

The campground is very nice, it is pricey, but there are not many, if any places in that area to stay! We were in the Trail F section each site had it's on little wooden deck with picnic table, gas grill and a fire pit! I think this would be a great section tobe in with kids of 8 & 11! Since it is where the pool, volley ball court, horse shoes and pavilion are! Even though it is still the off seasone they still had free coffee & doughnuts on Sat & Sun morrnings! Also if you buy your attraction ticket at the campground store(also located in Trail F) you get two days for the price of one!
