Leaving the youngest son with the in-laws and DW and I are heading down to Nashville from 11/19 and coming back home in time for Thanksgiving (which DW is hosting so I'm not giving her much time to prepare!).

We may be spending Thanksgiving in the motor home this year. A group of friends always does it. Circumstances may allow us to do it, too.

Since our only child (who is now pregnant with our first ) and only son-in-law will be far away at my sisters, (who lives 300 miles away versus 2000 miles for us) we will be spending Thanksgiving at Eastman Lake COE campground. Work keeps both Patty and me from traveling to St. Louis.
We will most likely invite one of the rangers for turkey dinner. We hope the weather is nice so we can dine outside.
We have much to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving.
God Bless us all!

not a clue,
How far ahead did you make reservations? That place is hard to get into.

Yes, it is. We made the reservations when they became available on the web site. Robin has gotten very good at being able to get in and get a site when we want it. I do notice when we go that there are always some empty sites. Maybe a call directly to the campground could score some cancelled reservations.
It is one of favorite places to camp. We camped last weekend at South Carlsbad SB. That is now our second favorite place, large sites and on the bluffs overlooking the beach. Nice clean beach.

This year I'm leaving the 5ver at the Park and driving the 200 miles back to the stick house. Spending the Holiday with very good friends.

We're spending two weeks at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort in Kerrville, Tx. It's a great spot and they're holding a sit down dinner tonight for 350! The park is packed because of the free dinner I guess.

We went to Boulevard, near Campo (extreme southern California, about 4 miles from Mexico) with some friends. Here's a photo (I hope). Our trailer is the one on the left:
