Went back to Concord again this weekend to the Tom Johnson Camping Center for there annual Spring Fling. Free camping for folks who have purchased RVs from them. Had a great 4 days. Got a few problems with the motorhome fixed by Fleetwood factory techies , there just for that purpose. Saw "Elvis" "Barney Fife" 3 great bands, and a lot of just plain fun. The folks at Tom Johnson are great.

Hi Steve and Renna,

We went to the one he has in the Fall at the Marion dealership a couple years ago, had a great time. Lot's of fun and what a campfire!

They backed up a truck loaded with logs 12'-14' long, stood them up as an 'A' frame, built the fire underneath. Flames leaping 50'-75' in the air and it burned all night!

What part of NC are y'all from? We're up in Buladean (Mitchell County).

The annual Tom Johnson barbeque runs from Thursday through Saturday the first weekend after Labor Day every year. This year's dates are September 8-11, 2005. Are y'all going?
