has anyone stayed at the 100 trails campground in Peace River (near Wauchula, FL) or the Orlando resort. Just trying to see what they are really like.
thanks
bob

When we took our trip to Florida last winter, our first stop was Orlando TT. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay.
We found a nice private site where we could enjoy the campground and we could tie our dogs out without a lot of people walking by.
First site we were put on was unacceptable. Lots and lots of fire ants.
Peace River I heard was nice. Similar to Lynchburg in Va. Woodsy. We will stay there if we go back to Florida this winter.

Orlando TT is large and "busy"-lots of activities in winter, not so many in summer. Good facilities - pool, restaurant, snack bar, etc. Peace River is smaller - trees and a river. Has less of a "resort" feel. Not as many facilities. Both parks difficult to find space in winter, very easy in summer. Either is a good place to stay. Good travels.
