Hershey is a hi use park in summer, warning the pool is spring fed as in cold. The state of PA has been allowing the rangers to break the eggs in the duck and goose nests. This has thinned the flocks somewhat. The park is only about 7 miles from the theme park. Take food in your car to the theme park as the food on site is more expensive than here in at Disney FL. They have a picnic area at the west parking lot. The Green Dragon flea and farmers mkt is fun to visit, they have a website and map, Happy Trails

Off-topic but related. I wonder if the Hershey city council will change the city name now that the Hershey corporation has announced they are moving all North American operations (U.S. and Canadian) to Mexico?

Beabop, thanks for the feedback. My in-laws live up there so I have been to Hershey many times. It is amazing the prices they charge. And I thought the mouse was the expert at getting every $ out of you he could

bjbkkb, I have used TT exclusively a couple of years back while traveling the Eastern US. I found the parks to be clean, sites of good size, and management very friendly. There are deals out there where you can join just the Eastern Region for around $500-$700. You can also find great deals on members who are no longer RV'ing by doing a Google search for campground memberships, or check E-bay.

Derek, thanks. We bought our coach at Lazy Days and got a trial membership with the membership fee for east or west zone waived. Did a weekend visit and really enjoyed it and knowing that we plan to fulltime down the road we decided to take advantage of the Lazy Days discount and upgrade to the National. We have stayed at two different parks and they have both been great. Thanks for the feedback.

Hershey is a real nice park. About 20 min to the park. Nice trees and yes a lot of Ducks. Cold pool and a small store with Hershey Ice Cream. We go there about 2 times a year
