1st Weekend Trip of the Year

Just got back from Mahlon Dickerson Reservation in Northern NJ. One word for this weekend "Windy". Wow, we did not get the road bicycle out like we planned on but did get the mountain bicycle out on the trails, did some hiking with and without the dogs, geocaching, photography, cooking and some friends stopped by to visit on Saturday night.

All the systems worked well (water heater had a hiccup) and the engine ran great.

If you are in northern NJ and want to stay in the woods I would recommend this campground.

This coming weekend is our first outting for the year and we are heading for Halcyon Hot Springs in BC. We have a lake front site, resort has beautiful hot pools and a 5 star restaurant and full hook ups. This is a regular haunt for us 2 or 3 times a year. It's about a 3.5 hour drive one way with a ferry ride thrown in. Nice relaxing weekend and a nice little jaunt.
