2012 Woodalls for 85.00

Hello again,

Looking for a campground directory. Reviews of the Good Sam directory are not so hot. I don't know when Woodall sold out but this is the most recent version that appears to be still woodalls. Is it worth $85. BTE we are about to launch from selling our stick home and full timing so I'm not sure how consistent WiFi or hot spot internet will be.

Hi,

I would not pay $85.00 for a Woodalls Directory as the Good Sam Directory is just fine and has most of the campgrounds. If you are a Good Sam Member and go to their site and plan a trip there are also campground section to find a campground on your trip.
You can also belong to Passport America and they have their own directory, go to Passport America The original 50% Discount Camping Club - Passport America Discount Camping Club. You can also pick up at Camping World a Corp of Engineers campground book plus a national park campground book.
If you want to join passport america send me a message and I will give you more info and how to join.

Agree, I would not pay $85.00, especially for something outdated. I actually wouldn't buy any of them. If you have a smart phone, there are several good aps for finding a campground. Passport America, Good Sam, KOA, RV Parky, and more. These are free apps. I also go online to several locations to find a good park.

Go to Camping World or look online for the recent Good Sam Directory. This takes the place of the old Woodalls and a new edition comes out every year. It's getting too big to handle. It's a LOT cheaper.

Also, look at Allstays
Allstays | Campgrounds | RV Parks

I use the free version. There is also Allstays Pro with lots of features and filters, but I didn't see the cost on their website.

waste of money........ Internet is a much better source of rv sites. Just google your destination. Spend the extra for data on your phone if you are going full time or buy a hot spot.

That's fine if you're in a place that you can get service.

FYI from wikipedia:

Good Sam Enterprises is a provider of membership clubs, as well as subscription-based products, services and publications, targeted toward recreational vehicle and other outdoor enthusiasts in the United States. Additionally, the company owns Camping World, a leading RV-related ... Subsequently, in May 1994, AGI acquired Woodall Publishing Company,

AGI is Affinity Group Holding, LLC and owns many companies associated with RV'ing
