Patty and I are planning a 2 week trip around Christmas '06 for our 30th . Patty wants to go where it will be warm , i.e. SO CA, AZ, NM, or maybe as far as Texas. I think Mexico (Baja or Gulf) would be nice but there is some trepidation . Many of you have been "South of the Border". Any ideas for two weeks ? U.S.of A. or Mexico. It doesn't have to be fancy. Just relaxing, sightseeing, and day hiking . Dry camping is fine too, but a 6 day maximum.

Thank you for your help.

Tucson is a nice area that time of year (and warm too). Laid back and relaxed, yet there's plenty of sightseeing, hiking, etc if you choose to do it.
