5th wheel heading South in mid January
Newbie will be heading South for the first time down I65 during mid January from Cleveland. We will be needing a place to sleep while getting to Mobile, AL area. Thinking we can make Bowling Green, KY area the first night? Also, will need to slide out the bed room so we can sleep. Have a dog. Truck stop? rest area? stores? RV park?

There's a Walmart off of exit 22 in Bowling Green that RV Parky shows overnight parking. There's also a KOA off the same exit. If you have a smart phone you should install RV Parky. You can choose filters for campgrounds, Walmart, Pilot, Flying J, KOA and other features. It's a great little free app, while on your journey.

Any of the places listed work for us.
BTW, why did you buy a 5th wheel in which you can not sleep if the bedroom slide is not out.
Wondering

Mel...good question...did not even think about this in my buying decision, if I was to buy this again it wound not have a slide for sleeping. It really limits the spots you can park. a big newbee mistake! So, have to find a spot to over-night that is free of vehicle movement on the drivers.
