A few Nice parks west of Nashville

We went to a couple of nice parks this past week and I thought I would share with you guys.

Montgomery Bell State park has some really nice sites on the river. They have full hookups and are long enough for the largest Class A. There are no senior discounts on the "premium" sites, but the park is pretty and quiet.

After Montgomery Bell, we moved on to Loretta Lynn's Ranch Campground. It was almost empty, but with our Passport America discount, it was a good deal cheaper than the state park. The sites were up on a large hill and the ranch is scenic. We visited a couple of sites there and had a good evening. If you camp close enough to the general store, you can get free wi-fi. :-)

Tonight, we are in Tishomingo State park in Mississippi and it is awesome! The place is deserted, the lake is beautiful. It's like having our own private lake complete with a couple of ducks. built a fire and cooked on the grill. Pushing south tomorrow looking for warmer weather.
