A great place in NC!

We are at a place near Bat Cave, NC called Creekside Mountain Camping. This is day 2. Full hookups, friendly folks, and a spot beside the creek.
The web sight is : www.creeksidemountaincamping.com -
The place is a neat little spot, nestled in a valley. The sunrise was amazing, the kids love it, pet friendly and the place is family run.
For less than $30 a night, it is a good deal!!!

Looks good...if I remember correctly they have a Pumpkin Festival in Lake Lure in the Fall as well. Here is a place close to us that we'll spend July at Riverbend RV Resort - Home . It's well would the drive up to Lake Toxaway. Another spot that looks good is the State Park at Lake Jocassee have driven thru just having camped. Wa8ym we ate at Elliott's last night close to you.

We left this AM. We caught the edge of the winter storm and saw snow and 30-40mph winds last night. The extended family came over and stated last PM, until about 1030. The owner did that was ok and he hoped we had fun.
We lost power at about 0130 this AM. Fired up the GenSet and all was well. Felt bad for the folks beside us, they had heat and could have plugged in to us to charge up, instead, they left early. Power came back on at 1030 or so. The park owner didn't fuss about the genny running at all. He was quite accommodating.
We all had a great time! We will be back in the summer. That was fun!
