We just got back from 4 weeks in the Pacific Northwest. left So Cal August 1 stopping in Merced CA on our way to Newport OR for the
Alpine pre rally to the FMCA rally at Redmond. We had to pass on the FMCA since we had planned on heading north. We stayed in Portland OR, Pendelton OR before heading to Lewiston/Clarkston on the Snake river visiting an old Air Force buddy there. We traveled on to Olympia Wa and Port Angeles Wa before heading on the Ferry to Victoria Vancouver Island BC, some beautiful country. Certainly cooler than the heat of the desert!! From there we headed down the coast on 101 to just N of San Francisco then jumped over to 5 SB and home again. A wonderful trip but it sure is nice to be home!!
