A Quiet Spot in Carmel Ca

We just spent a week at Carmel by the River RV Park in Carmel Valley, California. It is located in a quiet valley and several of the sites are large enough for big rigs. The last mile or so of the road in is a bit scary but we unhooked first... sent the DW ahead in the toad to lead the way through a stretch of single lane road and all was fine. Just take it slowly.

As with everything in Carmel, it's pricey. We paid about $360 for the week and nightly rate is $65. You might read reviews indicating that the owners let their dogs run loose in the park and they leave their calling card everywhere. It's all true. We found that to be the one big downer at the park but just watched where we stepped and picked up after our own dogs. There aren't a lot of choices in the area.

We will return.
