A spot in Yuma starting the 25th.

We are at Casa Grande and want a spot in Yuma starting the 25th, BUT is there a spot where you don't hear the trains other than going out to Somerton. Wife wants to stay closer to shopping. A couple days later would work also.
Thanks LEN

Would think any park south of 8 would keep you further from trains. Maybe try the new park to the south...thinks it’s Carefree RV...pretty decent sites.

Villa Alameda. I'm a very light sleeper so train noise is always a concern. This park was far enough away to allow a good night's sleep. It also seemed out of the direct flight path of the military jets at the local base which did produce quite a bit of noise during the day.

Fortuna Del Oro near Foothill Blvd. Have not noticed trains, freeway, or other. Have stayed there several times typically for a week or so.

Lots of shopping nearby. Frys grocery, etc.

Here at Carefree now. no noise. Huge sites, real nice facilities..... but no trees/vegetation. The newer parks like this one tend to have larger sites for bigger rigs and park models, but no trees. Older parks have nice trees etc. but tend to be tight; smaller sites. TB

Wonder what the original poster has decided to do? Asked at Carefree last year if they were planning on planting trees and was told no. Don’t remember the reasoning but it is a nicely laid out park with ample size sites and great facilities.

West Wind is our favorite Yuma park.

The wife went with experience, Del Pueblo in Somerton. We were worried about availability.
Thanks to all.
