Aerial video Moabi Park / Pirates Cove Needles CA

I fly quadcopters for a hobby and took some aerial footage of our weekend at Pirates Cove / Moabi regional park on the Colorado river.

Boaters paradise and a OHV off road paradise.

temps were in the 80's and just perfect weekend all around.
Camping on the peninsula's are amazing, your right on the water and can park you boat/jetski on the shore. $50/night for full hookups is a little more on the $$$ side, but compared to beachfront RV spots in ca its not as bad. The sand/beach here is amazing! Highly recommend in the spring/fall. Middle of summer is probably awful hot.

Nice vids. I fly too (phantom 2 w/gopro and all the goodies) but I'm not quite as steady as you are. I take it with me on all our outings. Great fun for the "in-between eating/drinking/boating/napping" times.

I have a bunch ;-) little 250 racer, and had a big 800 sized hex (have since sold) but this is shot with a phantom2 and go pro. Its the easiest and most portable for trips.
