Thumbs up Affordable campgrounds in Orlando area

I'm preparing to retire [again and for good this time -retired from the Army 10 years ago] become a full timer and finally get my dream job; driving a Disney bus. If anyone can recommend a good clean/ affordable campground in the Orlando area for seasonal stays it would be much appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Check out Lake Magic RV Resort in Clermont. 10 minutes from the front gate of Disney. Nice clean park. Affordable. Good people.

Also check out Winter Garden RV on rt 50. Nice park and minutes from 27. Last year they had a $399 a month special.

We stayed in the "Fort" over the Christmas Holidays and have taken the Disney buses. I have to give you guys credit, to tolerate the constant "Will this bus take me to ...?"

LOL

I'd like something for next year in that vicinity too. Maybe not seasonal, but 2 weeks or so...

Regards

We stayed at Wekiva Springs KOA just outside of Sanford fl. Probably 30 minutes from Disney. However, if you are retiring what difference does time make? natural clear springs great for swimming, tiki bar, water slide for the kids, swimming pool, very clean LARGE park, Publix just down the road, and a great staff very reasonable rates. Gets an 8.5 out of ten, oh and a nice general store.

Thanx for the info. If you come to Disney and ride the buses look for the bus driver with the maroon beret. I'll let you ride for free.

We stay at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont. They have some full hook up sites. Nice place and the price is right.
