We are planning on staying the first week in March in Alabama. Any recommendations? How far south will we have to go to have 70 degrees and spring flowers? We have a 36' MH and toad. Thanks for your help.

I am in North Central Alabama near Huntsville. The first week of March could be almost anything in any part of Alabama. Since you have a motorhome you should be comfortable anywhere. However, in Alabama there is no guarantee of 70 degrees. I would say the Gulf area would be your best bet.

Dianne told you right. Could be in the 70/80's or 30's in Huntsville or Dothan in March or just about anywhere on the central Gulf Coast. It won't be cold but a day or two then the wind gets back out of the South and Spring for several days till the next cold front comes thru.
Gulf Shores would give you your best bet though but call for reservations at Gulf SP. Right now it's pretty full of Snowbirds and they usually don't leave till April.

We have stayed at Gulf State Park in Foley, on the coast. It was a very clean and nice park. Also get hot in the summer..just watch out for the alligators.
