Albany,KY - where to stay

I have talked my DH into making a trip there this summer. Has anyone stayed at campgrounds in the area? I'm wanting to do genealogy research on my grandparents. Four generations lived in the area and I've never had the chance to go here. We've checked out several campground web sites but not sure. We've found that sometimes what to see on web sites is not always true when you get there.
