We're going there this summer for the first time. Looking for a place in the park, described to us as being near one of the campgrounds, where you can jump from the shore rocks into the water. We have no way of contacting the person who told us about this, so I was hoping to get some leads here. Sound familiar to anyone?

We love Lake Superior Provincial Park and the Provincial Park system. Their web sites are very well done. Try Algonquin Provincial Park | Ontario, Canada | The Friends of Algonquin Park I can pretty much gurantee you will find the informatioin you need.

There's several places where you can do this in the park, not just one. Some of the most popular are on Canoe, Tom Thomson and Rock Lakes.

Most of them aren't exactly near a place you can an RV into though, be prepared to canoe for some distance to get to them.

Ask around locally too, some of them are definitely not for the faint of heart. It's 30++ feet down to the water.
