We bought the app and we use the web version too. The app is very handy when on the road. We haven't used our other apps since we started using Allstays.

I use both the app & the web site. My favorite campground finder for commercial campgrounds, however the CampWhere app is great for non commercial campgrounds.

I have a question I hope one of you can answer. I have an android tablet (Samsung Galaxy 2 20.1) that is wifi only (no 3g or 4g). I notice that the GPS is active without an internet connection. Will the Allstays app. work while not internet connected? In other words, is the information stored on the tablet, or does it need an internet connection to be useful?

We could also install it on our phones which obviously have internet connection as long as we are in a service area, but the 10" screen on the tablet is so much nicer to use.

Sorry but you need an internet connection to use the allstays app. But it will work.in the Galaxy 2.

If you have a smart phone you could set it as a WiFi hotspot and connect the Galalxy by WiFi to the phone, thereby using the cell connectiviry as the Internet connection as you drive. I do that.

Thanks for the quick reply. We do have Samsung Galaxy phones too and setting it as a wifi hotspot is clearly the way to go.

Yup - it is, good luck.

We have the allstays app on all devices we own. My DW does all the necessary Navigation etc work while we are moving and we can both see 7in monitor quite well from the mounted position. Works great,
