Any recommends for parks in the Anahiem/Orange County CA area? Pet friendly too. Will be there in June '10.

Canyon RV Parkm it's located in Bonelli Regional Park. Very nice place with lots of grass and open spots, one of our favorites, in fact we're goning the on Monday. Here is a link to the park Canyon RV Park

The park is about 20 minutes from all the Anaheim attractions, but it is worth the drive to stay there as opposed to the asphalt parking lot RV parks that are closer.

Have a good time

Dennis

We stayed at the
Anaheim RV Village‎ 333 West Ball Road, Anaheim, CA‎

It was within a 15 min walk to the entrance to Disneyland, didn't have to pay for parking at disneyland, and was able to see the fireworks at night from our RV. Over all it was OK, easy freeway on and off.

They don't have a lot of larg RV spots so reserve early.

Ed

There is also Anaheim Resort RV Park. Stayed there for a few days one weekend not to visit Disneyland but to spend time with my two sons who were both visiting at the same time for different reasons. The site we had I believe was 40A on Lemon Street and we could actually view the Disneyland nightly fireworks right out of our one piece picture front window. They also have a Disneyland shuttle pickup right near the office. Easy in easy out.

Here's their web site.

Anaheim Camping/RV Park/Campground/Resort: Disneyland/Orange County/California

Have fun!

We used anahiem RV Village as well. During our stay last summer, we had no issues. Clean park. The spots were a little close together, but served its purpose.

Thanks for the input, we made reservations at the Anahiem RV Resort on Midway DR. They were willing to accept our 4 little dogs at an extra charge. I believe they have a 3 pet max. Going for a family reunion, we have seen enough Disney in our lifetime. But parts of our family reside in Orange County. I thought there would be more choices but really there is only 3 parks.

Camping in Orange County, California is not much more than a parking lot across from the beach but it is close to Disneyland and there always seems to be something happening at the beach (music/surf contests/farmers markets/ car shows, etc.)

Along the lines of parking lots at the beach, Bolsa Chica state beach is a little tough to get into but it has water and elecric and a dump station.

City of Huntington Beach, California - Beach Parking and Camping During the winter off peak months, the City of Huntington Beach allows RV's to "camp" in the city lot near the pier.

I live with in a minute or two of all those I have listed and would be comfortable at any. However, my family's favorite has always been the previously mentioned Canyon RV park. We have been going there for years and love the wide open grass space for the kids to play.
